My Story

I’m a private jeweler specializing in custom design, a creative at large, and entrepreneur based in Memphis, TN.

I’ve never been good at doing just one thing — which is why I became a designer. Design isn’t just a job; it’s a way to learn about the world. I’m always looking for new ways to expand my practice. Sometimes that means crafting a custom-made engagement ring for a client and sometimes it means leading the creative team for a small business, or working on a limited edition line of jewelry.

I grew up in the Midwest but have called the South my home since 2012. I spent time studying decorative arts and jewelry in Italy, a place that has had a foundational effect on my work. I am as inspired by place as I am by people, and so I use visual storytelling to tailor each project to the person with whom I am working. I attempt to get to know each client; to take an idea, feeling, memory, story and make it into something physical.

I trained at the New Approach School for Jewelers in 2006, and recommend it as a great place for anyone interested in learning about the craft. I make custom engagement rings, necklaces, bracelets and other pieces of fine jewelry.
