I’m Carol Blumthal, a private jeweler and custom jewelry designer based in Memphis, TN, specializing in bespoke engagement rings, heirloom redesigns, and one-of-a-kind fine jewelry. My work blends artistry, storytelling, and craftsmanship to create meaningful, wearable pieces.
My designs have been internationally recognized, with my work featured in British Vogue and exhibited at Milan Jewelry Week’s Artistar Jewels exhibition, where my sculptural fine jewelry was showcased alongside top contemporary designers from around the world.
I trained at the New Approach School for Jewelers and studied decorative arts and jewelry in Italy, experiences that deeply influence my design philosophy. My background in graphic design and metalsmithing allows me to merge traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics, creating jewelry that is both timeless and edgy.
Each custom piece I design is a collaboration with my client, transforming ideas, memories, and personal stories into tangible works of art. Whether it’s a custom-made engagement ring, a redesigned heirloom piece, or a limited-edition jewelry collection, my goal is to craft jewelry that resonates on a personal level.
